Transferring from Noké Pro to Smartlox - FAQs

On 22nd June 2024, Noké Pro will be shutting down. This was first announced by Noké in November 2023. As this date approaches, we are reminding all customers who wish to continue using their Noké locks that they will need to consider switching to Smartlox to minimise impact to their operations.

On 22nd June 2024, Noké will disable all user accounts on Noké Pro – meaning that all locks still operating on Noké Pro will stop working.

Smartlox is working to ensure compatibility with as many models of Noké locks as possible. However, despite our best effort there will be some types of locks that we may not be able to support. Below is a list of all Noké lock models and their compatibility:

To confirm if your locks will work, please contact us with exact details of your locks such as lock type, serial number and approximate date of purchase.

Smartlox is completely independent of Noké and their platforms. We have built our own platform from the ground up, with a focus on usability, performance and system reliability. There may be some slight differences in how our platform works compared to what you’re used to with Noké Pro.
However, we have built our platform to be intuitive and easy to use. In any case, our expert team is on hand to help you whenever you need.

While we perform the transfer, you can continue using your locks on Noké Pro as normal. However, once we notify you that the transfer is complete, and the locks are used on Smartlox for the first time, the locks must not be used on Noké Pro by any user. To prevent possible issues, we recommend the locks be removed from Noké Pro once activated on Smartlox.

We have prepared extensive measures to ensure the transfer process goes smoothly. However, as with any technical process there is a possibility of things going wrong. In the event of the process failing, we will do everything we can to urgently rectify the problem and get your locks back online.
The process is not without some risk – mostly due to hardware compatibility. Please refer to our Transition Terms & Conditions for more information.

Yes. Our Nyckel Web App can be accessed by users with Admin permissions to manage their account.

Once we have activated your account, you’ll be able to manage your locks, users and access permissions through this portal.

It’s easy! Simply fill in the form and we will get in touch to get you set up. Then, take part in one of our regular training sessions with our Customer Success team. We also have step-by-step instructions to ensure you get your locks moved over to the Smartlox system smoothly.

Smartlox can only manage warranty for locks that we have sold. If you’ve got an existing issue with a lock, we recommend speaking to the supplier you bought it from. Once locks are activated in our platform, we will do our best to support you and troubleshoot any issues – but where we find a hardware issue is the source of the problem, you will need to speak to your supplier for warranty support.

Once we receive your consent to initiate the transfer through the form, allow one week for the transfer process to be completed. Smartlox will notify you if this process occurs sooner.

Our aim is to make this as seamless as possible for you. We know this is frustrating and not something you anticipated needing to do when you bought your locks. But we’re here to help. We are committed to making this a smooth transition, but acknowledge there is always the
